    Program Description:

Flathead Valley Community College, Workforce Services partners and local employers have launched a project to introduce the ACT workplace skills assessments to local employers, job seekers and educators across the workforce spectrum. Businesses throughout the country are currently using the National Career Readiness Certificate as an integral part of their hiring and promoting standards. As a result, these companies have seen significant measurable improvements in employee turnover rates, on-the-job safety, absenteeism, employee morale, and costs relating to hiring and training. It is no secret that improvements in these areas lead to increased productivity which, in turn, benefits the company as well as the entire region. This program offers an introduction to the NCRC assessments and how HR managers can use them for productive recruiting and retention.
