    In the Flathead Valley SHRM Chapter, we have over 100 members from companies such as Glacier Bank, Kalispell Regional Medical Center, Plum Creek Lumber, Flathead Valley Community College, Whitefish Credit Union and North Valley Hospital.  Many local small businesses are also represented within our membership.

    We are a SHRM Preferred Provider for the new SHRM-CPTM and SHRM-SCPTM Certifications! Beginning in 2015 FV-SHRM will be able to award Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for programs offered that relate to the SHRM Body of Competency & KnowledgeTM (SHRM BoCK).

    Our monthly meetings typically feature a guest speaker on exciting topics such as; motivating and retaining our staff members, healthcare reform, wage & hour, diversity, performance appraisals, safety, worker’s compensation, sexual harassment, ADA compliance, and coaching. The chapter also offers a wonderful network to other experts in the HR field and the opportunity to share ideas and obtain alternative perspectives on a number of human resource related issues.

    As a member in good standing, attendance at the regular monthly meetings is free and will include the cost of lunch.  There is no charge for a first time guest, after that non-members are charged $26 for the program and lunch.  As a member of the Flathead Valley Chapter, you will be on the mailing list for meeting reminders, upcoming special events, legislative issues relating to the HR field, and job opportunities inside or near Flathead Valley.
