    Let’s face it. Recruiting talented people these days is daunting. It’s a cutthroat labor market for employers struggling to fill key jobs amidst a shrinking talent pool. As if Covid 19 and its multiple variants were not sufficiently daunting, Montana employers face the aftermath of the so called Great Resignation in which more than 47 million Americans quit their jobs in 2021. Another challenge: the demands of younger workers for higher pay and perks, greater flexibility, and more fulfilling roles. That’s why enlightened organizations are reimagining the contributions retirees and encore workers bring to the workplace and are aggressively recruiting them to fill a variety of jobs.
