Program Overview
Presentation will review the different types of childcare families can choose from, how childcare and early childhood education intersect with the school system, what the actual cost of care tends to look like vs. what families can afford to pay and how that is impacting local childcare facilities in 2024, and some possible advocacy solutions being formulated at the state and local level.
Workshop Objectives
How enlightened employers can provide even limited childcare resources as both recruiting and retention tools, and a quick review of organizations who are offering creative solutions to the childcare dilemma.
What HR thought leaders can do to develop innovative solutions to the company’s childcare challenges; who’s doing it right and what can we learn from them?
