    Corporate Recruiter Opportunity in Columbia Falls, Montana
    Opportunity Overview

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Recruiter to join our corporate talent acquisition team located in our Columbia Falls, Montana office.

    Columbia Falls is located in Montana's scenic Flathead Valley, which is a year-round outdoor paradise with easy access to world-class hiking, skiing/snowboarding, rafting, biking, backpacking, fly-fishing and sightseeing. Columbia Falls and the surrounding cities of Kalispell, Whitefish and Bigfork offer an excellent quality of life, close-knit communities, as well as a wide array of shopping, restaurants and activities for all ages. Our office is located just 15 miles from the entrance to Glacier National Park, home to some of the most scenic mountains and lakes in America as well as the renowned Going-to-the-Sun Road.
     
    Position Details
    As a Recruiter at Plum Creek, you will have the opportunity to participate in:
    • Executing Plum Creek's talent acquisition and workforce planning strategy for all of our various business units across the United States to ensure the placement of top talent within our organization.
    • Implementing and assisting with the design of innovative, targeted and effective recruitment strategies that encompass sourcing both passive and active candidates.
    • Designing and implementing efficient screening and interview tools that screen candidates for technical/functional skills and core competencies.
    • Supporting and documenting our good faith efforts for community outreach to develop the diversity of our workforce and support our position as an Equal Opportunity Employer.
    • Driving best-in-class experiences for all candidates and hiring teams, including the coordination of the internal hiring/transfer process.
    In addition to standard recruitment duties outlined above, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of special projects in 2015, including:
     
    • Recruitment Social Media optimization efforts
    • Onboarding program development
    • Career fair booth/materials development
    • Various Continuous Process Improvement projects
     
    Qualifications
     
    Education & Certifications
    • Bachelor's required; Major in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related field preferred
    Experience
    • One or more years of Human Resources and/or Talent Acquisition experience required
    • Experience building candidate pipelines and demonstrating a track record of hiring successful individuals preferred
    • Experience with recruiting systems including: applicant tracking software (ATS), job boards, and internet searching tools preferred
    • Human Resources experience and/or education preferred
    Travel Requirements
    This Recruiter position will require 5-10% travel. This typically includes occasional visits to our local manufacturing facilities and offices in Montana's Flathead Valley (Columbia Falls and Evergreen), as well as occasional travel to meetings, interviews, career fairs and conferences in Montana and other states.
    Compensation & Benefits
    • Targeted starting base salary: $41,400 to $54,900
    • Targeted annual bonus: 14%
    • Comprehensive employee benefits package, which includes healthcare coverage, health and dependent daycare funds, life and disability protection, paid vacation time, as well as both a 401k (with up to 6% match) and a company-funded pension plan. Additionally, Plum Creek supports and pays for organization dues for SHRM and testing fees for PHR/SPHR, etc.
